Using the table in Caring About Student Needs , Student Needs: select two of the student needs listed that you could focus on to improve the environment in your classroom.   (If you are not currently in a classroom, consider how you would do this in a classroom in which you would likely teach.)

• Why do you feel the chosen needs are important to your classroom?
• Describe a plan with specific examples of what you might do in your classroom to meet that student need.
• What do you anticipate the results will be in your classroom?
